The three Government doctors Ajanta Bordoloi, Anupam Sarma, and Arun Chandra Deka who were serving at the Mangaldoi Civil Hospital were arrested by the Police earlier on November 7.

Meanwhile, the High Court also rejected the anticipatory bail of Ashirbad Hazarika, former Executive Magistrate of Dalgaon.

While hearing the case on Friday, Justice Robin Phukan granted public prosecutor M. Phukon two days time for submitting the statements of petitioners, namely Ajanta Bordoloi, Anupam Sarma, and Arun Chandra Deka.

The Gauhati High Court further directed the public prosecutor to present the updated case diary on November 14 without any delay.

On the other hand, the High Court rejected the anticipatory bail application of Former Executive Magistrate of Dalgaon, Ashirbad Hazarika stating it as 'infructuos' as he was arrested before his bail was moved in the Court. Hazarika who was summoned by the CID in the Dhula rape and murder case finally surrendered on November 10.
