Dibrugarh DC Pallav Gopal Jha discussed Tea Estate school issues

Dibrugarh: Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha had an interaction session with the representatives of Tea Estate Teachers’ Association and the Representatives of ABITA Zone 1 at a meeting held at the DC’s conference room on Friday.

The meeting discussed about free book distribution among the students of tea estate schools, student-teacher ratio and the reasons for leaving schools by students in the middle of their courses and other related issues.

After thread bare discussion on various issues, DC Jha ensured that he would take all necessary measures so that the students of tea estate schools got free textbooks on time.

He also emphasized constituting Child Protection Committee in the tea estate areas, construction of separate urinals for boys and girls in each school, and construction of fencing on four sides of each school located in tea estates.
