Dibrugarh DC Pallav Gopal Jha inaugurated Audio-visual studio

Dibrugarh: In a nice gesture of humanity and fellow feeling, the parents of Neelotpal Dutta – a noted singer and musician who died an untimely death – donated his audio-visual studio recently to Prerona Children Home – a facility taking care of and providing shelter to specially-abled children, and the ones escaping various sorts of abuse and violence.

Neel Production, as the studio is known as, was handed over to benefit the hapless children of the children home by Dr. Lekhon Dutta (father) and Chetana Dutta (mother). The event took place at the residence of Dutta in the East Milan Nagar area of the town.

The audio visual studio was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha. The principal of Prerona Children Home, Jyotsna Sonowal anchored the event, which was attended by several noted personalities, including inter alia, Executive Officer of Akashbani Dibrugarh Kendra, Lohit Deka and well-known reciter and musician, Syed Sadullah.
