Dibrugarh District Task Force holds review meeting

Dibrugarh: With the intention of bringing children above the age of 2 years and pregnant women of the district who were left uncovered by the routine immunization programme under the folds of immunization, Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0 programme is scheduled to begin from December 3 spanning over four stages.

In this connection, a meeting of Dibrugarh District Task Force was held on Friday under the presidentship of ADC, Partha Pratim Bairagi. In the meeting, the representatives of the Health Department informed that the programme would be covered across four stages starting from December 3, January 6, February 3 and March 2 respectively, each stage lasting for a week.

The first stage aims to cover a total of 412 children above 2 years of age and 66 pregnant women who were completely left out of the routine immunization programme. Bairagi, in his speech, urged the Health Department to work in coordination with Education and Social Welfare Department for making the programme a success.
