Dibrugarh SP Office gets first-of-its-kind 'E-Office' in Assam

Guwahati: In a bid to further enhance the efficiency of the police unit, a first of its kind e-office has been inaugurated at the SP's office in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Monday.

The first of its kind e-office in the state has been inaugurated by Pallav Gopal Jha, the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh in a function held at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh today. "It is a very good and important initiative taken by the SP, Dibrugarh and his team. It will make the process of day to day office works faster and easier. It has also relevance with COVID19 and a step forward towards paperless work", Jha said on the sidelines of the inauguration.

Sreejith T, the Superintendent of Police of Dibrugarh has informed that the office is completely digitized with various modern features. "This will help us to maintain transparency, paperless work, data security, file tracking, and fast movement of the documents from one department to the other", he said.

Attending the occasion, Pramod Nath, the District Informatics Officer of Dibrugarh said that the data of the system will be saved in four different places. "So, there will be no chance of loss of data", he beamed. Several other key dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
