Dibrugarh University convocation on March 18

Dibrugarh: The 18th convocation of Dibrugarh University will be held on March 18. The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu is expected to grace the occasion as its chief guest. Governor of Assam, Professor Jagdish Mukhi will preside over the convocation ceremony. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is expected to join as distinguished guest of honour along with State Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya. The event will be held in the 18th convocation pandal, DU campus. The students’ procession will begin at 3:15 p.m. followed by academic procession. The conferment of degrees is expected to take place at around 5:10 p.m. followed by the convocation pledge by the graduates.
