Digboi Refinery Fire & Safety team sanitizes Digboi township

DIGBOI: IOCL AOD Digboi Refinery has kept pace with the guidelines of the Government of India with regard to the precautionary measures in the COVID-19 scenario.

Keeping abreast with the high importance of preventive measures being taken across the country to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Fire & Safety Team of Indian Oil’s Digboi Refinery took the initiative of sanitizing the township, stated a press release.

The Fire and Safety team led by S Senkumar, DGM(F&S), planned and executed the sanitization exercise of the township over three days. Day one included sanitization spray in Digboi Tinali area, Charali market, ASTC bus stand, BSF camp area, Army camp, new market area and various residential hubs.

On the second day, select pockets inside the Refinery were cleansed and disinfected while the third day was devoted to sanitization in Muliabari area extending up to Digboi War Cemetery.
