Dikhowmukh Janajati High School teacher's demise condoled

GAURISAGAR: Partha (Babu) Hazarika, a young and energetic teacher of Dikhowmukh Janajati High School and only the son of Bipin Hazarika and Rita Kalita Hazarika of Gaurisagar, passed away on Sunday evening due to brain ailment. He was 35.

Born on March 28, 1986 he passed his HSLC examination with flying colours from Gaurisagar Higher Secondary and Industrial Institute. Later he took admission in Sibsagar Government HS and MP School and passed the HS examination in Science stream. He did his B. Sc in Mathematics from Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati and his post-graduation in 2009 from Gauhati University.

After post-graduation, he joined as a science teacher in Dikhowmukh Janajati High School. The untimely death of the young teacher has cast a pall of gloom in entire Gaurisagar and Dikhowmukh area. People from various walks of life thronged his Gaurisagar residence soon after hearing the news of his demise. Various organizations paid floral tribute to him.

Amguri MLA Prodip Hazarika, Jorhat MP Tapon Kumar Gogoi and Congress leader Angkita Dutta expressed their condolence. He is survived by his wife Indrani Saikia, an assistant teacher of Mitong Nakatani LPS School, a 6-year old son, his parents and a host of relatives.
