Dima Hasao Health Services gets first batch of 1,500 Rapid COVID Test kits

HAFLONG: In a significant development, the Dima Hasao Health Services received the first batch of 1,500 Rapid COVID Test kits on Saturday, said Samuel Changsan, Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council, in-charge Medical and Health.

EM Changsanthanked Samir Sinha, Principal Secretary, Health, Government of Assam, and Dr Lakshmanan, MD, NHM Assam, for their initiative in prioritizing the Rapid Kits for Dima Hasao. He said that first these would be used for the delayed results/ damaged sample cases and also for high-risk urgent cases. On Friday evening, the EM paid a surprise visit to Umrongso Civil Hospital and interacted with the doctors, staff, and patients.
