Haflong: In protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the Dimasa Women Society and All Dimasa Students Union organized a rally here on Monday. Hundreds of people from various communities, NGOs took part in the rally. The rally originated from Lal Field and marched through the major parts of Haflong and culminated in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao. The agitators were demanding immediate withdrawal of CAA. Rinmila Hojai, president of DWS said they would not stop their agitation till the withdrawal of CAA. They also expressed their solidarity with the martyrs of CAA protests in Assam.
