SIVASAGAR: The first meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) on implementation of the “Swanidhi to Samriddhi” scheme was held under the chairmanship of Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav at the Sukafa Conference Hall of DC’s Office, Sivasagar.
The meeting discussed the activities of the scheme and the street vendors of urban areas who have already received loans under the “Swanidhi to Samriddhi” scheme, were targeted so that they could be benefitted through the eight schemes set by the Central Government such as PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Ration Card, Labour Registration, Janani Suraksha Yojana and PM Matru Vandana Yojana.
Additional Deputy Commissioner and Executive Officer of Sivasagar Municipal Board Sabyasachee Kashyap, Executive Officer of Nazira Pritam Gogoi, Executive Officer of Demow Mary Ralsun, Executive Officer of Simaluguri Rajeeb Sonowal, Urban Project Director of Assam State Urban Livelihood Mission Mirajuddin Ahmed, Joint Director of Health, Sivasagar as well as officers and employees of various departments were also present. It was informed that the “Swanidhi to Samriddhi” scheme will be implemented in the first phase in Sivasagar, Demow and Nazira municipalities under Sivasagar district and gradually in the remaining municipalities.
