District Magistrate Pallav Gopal Jha suspended Lot Gaon Burah for corruption

Dibrugarh: The District Magistrate, Pallav Gopal Jha has suspended Lot Gaon Burah (village headman) of Nalini Kapohua, Majpathar, Tingthengia of Tingkhong Revenue Circle on charges of ‘nepotism, corrupt behaviour and negligence of duty in the process of selection of beneficiaries for cash assistance to people below poverty line who are affected due to lockdown covered under NFSA 2013 for containing COVID 19 pandemic’.

Lot Gaon Burah Ganesh Gogoi bearing No. 435 of Tingkhong Mouza under Tingkhong revenue circle has been placed under suspension as per Clause-161 of Executive Instruction with immediate effect pending departmental proceeding.
