District Task Force Meeting takes stock for second phase of IMI 2.0 in Hailakandi

Hailakandi: A meeting of the District Task Force on Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0 was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Health), EL Faihraem on Saturday, stated a press release.

The meeting held at the office chamber of ADC Faihraem took stock of the preparations being made for the second phase of the IMI 2.0 that will be conducted on Monday. Altogether 14 sessions will be held covering 86 numbers of children in the age group of 0-2 years and 6 numbers of pregnant women.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Faihraem asked the health officials and functionaries to ensure that no single child or woman is left out of the vaccination drive in the second phase.

Earlier, in the first phase, of the 298 targeted children in the age group of 0-2 years, 297 were covered while cent percent was achieved in immunizing 42 numbers of pregnant women. Altogether 46 sessions were held.

District Immunisation Officer, Dr. K Thambalsena and other health officials and functionaries, including in charge of BPHCs, were present.
