Do not drink and drink, minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass appeals to youths

PATHSALA: Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass appealed to youths to drive sober during the Bihu celebration, as drinking and driving could be lethal for them, as well as for others.

He said that since efforts to reduce the number of accident during the New Year celebration had been successful, the government has taken steps to ensure that the Bihu celebrations are also accident-free. He said this during a meeting held at the Bajali DC office where Ranjeet Kumar Dass was invited as the chief guest. During the programme, Dass also donated a sum of Rs 1 crore from his MLA fund to 18 different organizations of the region.
