NUMALIGARH: Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve Authority, Aaranyak, WII, WWF-India, WTI, TCF and Bhumi, in collaboration with Silghat Eco Development Committee and Kanyaka Ashram Junior College, organized the 67th Wildlife Week Day celebration programme as Dolphin Day in Kanyak Ashram Junior College, Silghat on Tuesday.

A day-long programme was held among the students of Kanyak Ashram Junior College, observed day 4 of Wildlife Week as Dolphin Day. Hiyashri Sarma, Researcher, WII and Nurjamal Haque, Project Assistant, WII, interacted with the students on river dolphin. A field trip was held in Silghat Dolphin Sighting Poin during the programme. The programme was innugrated by Bhupen Sarma, former Principal, Silghat Higher Secondary School, with a motivational talk. Pradip Goswami, Range Officer Burapahar, Arif Hussain, Manager RRCD, Aaranyak, and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
