Door-to-door campaign by Bharatiya Janata Party in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI: The Dhekiajuli Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Ashok Singhal has geared up its election campaign in Dhekiajuli.

On Wednesday, its office bearers, booth committee members, former ward commissioners, Dhekiajuli nagar mandal BJP workers and cadres of other BJP-supported wings visited voters door-to-door and tried to woo the voters. Leaflets were distributed among people and small BJP flags were erected in the various places of Dhekiajuli constituency. Dhekiajuli MLA and BJP candidate Ashok Singhal is likely to face a tough competition from the other candidates who are also campaigning extensively, something which was not seen in the last assembly election.
