DULIAJAN: Delhi Public School, Duliajan, celebrated 25 years of dedicated service to society, commemorating a major milestone. In celebration of this special event, a grand procession made its way through the main streets of the town.

Teachers, staff, NCC cadets, and students wearing colourful traditional attire enthusiastically participated in the ceremony. The school's principal, Sri S.K. Sripada, led the parade, accompanied by the head mistress and vice principal, demonstrating their enthusiastic participation in the festivities.

Students chanted slogans of pride and gratitude as the six-kilometer procession, which started from the school grounds just after eight in the morning, moved forward to the steady beats of drums and cymbals played by the band contingent. At around 10:30 a.m, it came to an end, and they returned to the school amidst cheers and appreciation.

Expressing sincere thanks to OIL India Limited and the residents of the OIL township of Duliajan for their unwavering confidence in the institution's expansion was the procession's main objective.

Reaffirming the school's dedication to a comprehensive education with a strong foundation in cultural and traditional values was yet another objective.

Teachers and pupils alike were delighted by the event, and the spectators who gathered along the road to see the colourful spectacle were equally thrilled. The Silver Jubilee parade, which represents DPS Duliajan's commitment to quality and community service, has made a lasting impression.

The fraternity at Delhi Public School is eager to carry on its mission of uplifting young minds and improving society as a whole.
