DHUBRI: Dr. Sanat Kumar Saha of Dhubri and currently member (eminent scientist) of the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education, was awarded an international award for inspirational research works during the international conference on Healthcare and Allied Sciences in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.
The conference was jointly organized by Lincoln University, Malaysia ; UNIMUS, Indonesia and Osmania University, India in Kuala Lumpur in which over 500 delegates from 10 different countries participated.
Dr. Saha also delivered a panel lecture on ‘Environmental Wellness - ‘A Mindset for the New Age Health Care’ during the first technical session of the conference.
Talking to The Sentinel, Dr. Saha said that it was also a great privilege for him to chair one of the technical sessions of the conference there. Before the Malaysia programme, Dr. Saha had delivered a guest lecture on Energy and Environment at AMOLF Research Institute of Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research.
“This was my second visit to Amsterdam in the Netherlands after nearly two decades, but this time I saw a lot of development in all spheres of life and common people, scholars, intellectuals, students and academicians expressed serious concern over world issues, including global warming,” Dr. Sanat Kumar Saha said.
