Drug Mafia Busted Again in Barpeta: Major Success for Barpeta Road Police

Barpeta: In another major breakthrough against the rising drug menace, Barpeta Road Police have once again struck a blow to the drug mafia operating in the region. Acting on a tip-off from a confidential source, a team led by Officer Shyamal Jyoti Saikia conducted a successful raid and recovered eight drug-filled containers. The source of the contraband has been identified as Arshad Ali, a resident of Azad Nagar.

The operation not only led to the recovery of the drugs but also resulted in the arrest of a new suspect, adding to the growing list of individuals under investigation in connection with the drug trade. During further inquiries, police were also able to identify another suspected drug dealer operating within Barpeta, indicating the deep-rooted nature of the illegal network.

The recent arrests have sparked a wave of optimism among the local population.
