DTO Nagaon appeals to all to follow traffic rules

NAGAON: The new District Transport Officer, Nagaon Sunit Bora on Tuesday appealed all to follow all traffic rules as well as MVI guidelines and other strict measures to lessen the possibility of road mishaps across the district during the ongoing Bihu festival.

While speaking to this correspondent, the new DTO Sunit Bora said that the department concerned had left no stone unturned to make people aware of this.

Besides, the officials from the department concerned scheduled routine checking as well as rapid patrolling on the road on a regular basis, he added.

Urging to all bike riders as well as car drivers of the district, he appealed the bike riders to wear helmets. All rules as well as guidelines initiated by the government are only for the benefits as well as life security of the people in general, Bora added further.
