Durga idols immersed in Demow River

DEMOW: After five days of celebration of Durga Puja, on Friday the Durga idols were immersed in Demow River.

Durga Puja was celebrated this year by following strict COVID protocol in Demow and its surrounding areas. In the presence of local administration and Demow Police, the Durga idols were immersed in Demow River on Friday. A total of 7 Durga Puja pandals were set up in Demow area this time and among all the Pujas pandals in Demow area, the Demow Thakurbari Durga Puja is the oldest.
