Durga Puja celebration ended with the immersion of idols in Golaghat

Golaghat: Durga Puja celebration ended on Monday with the immersion of the idols of the Goddess. The immersion programme was organized at Dhanashree River Ghat with limited number of people keeping in mind COVID protocol. Puja committees of Farkating, Kamarbandha, Kacharihat, Bogdijeng and other places participated in the immersion programme. The police, traffic, health department and SDRF team extended commendable support. Additional Deputy Commissioner Orpa Bagalari, Municipal Executive Officer Mogan Norah and other officials were also present on the occasion.
