Education Minister Siddharth Bhattacharya visits schools in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: State Education Minister Siddharth Bhattacharya paid a visit to several schools of the district on Friday. Visiting schools, namely, Paltan Bazar Primary School, Borbari Primary School, and Graham Bazar Girls’ High Secondary School, the minister interacted with the teachers and also took stock of many aspects such as educational, infrastructural and mid-day meal scheme. After the visits, he mentioned having noticed many anomalies and irregularities in certain areas in the schools. He expressed disappointment over the arrangement being made for the mid-day meals in those schools and said that appropriate measures would be taken against the ones exercising irregularity.
