Educational institutions closed in Nalbari district

NALBARI: The Nalbari district administration has declared all public and private educational institutions closed on June 17 and June 18 in view of the heavy rainfall forecast received from the Meteorological Department of India.

The Chief Executive Officer of the District Disaster Management Department, Nalbari district administration on Thursday issued a directive in view of the forecast received by the Meteorological Department of India that heavy rains will continue in Nalbari district for the next two days- June 17 and June 18.

However, as before, the directive will not apply to institutions that are already preparing to conduct any examination process on these days. The district administration has urged the authorities of all government and private educational institutions in the district to comply with the directive and cooperate in ensuring the safety of the students in the district amidst adverse weather conditions.
