Eight more COVID-19 positive cases detected in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: With eight more COVID-19 positive cases detected on Friday and Saturday, the number of patients in Tinsukia district has spiked to 266.

All the newly-detected people were train returnees and they had been quarantined in different centres in the district like Ledo Community Hall, St Mary's School Margherita, Borhapjan New Market, Agrasen Bhavan, Tinsukia and Mayur Hotel Tinsukia. They have been identified as Eshak Jojowar (18), Kedar Chetry (53), Gyan Br Bhujel (23), Mukesh Kr Sah (31), Ajoy Karmakar(33), Raja Sautal (22), Tapan Tantabai (20) and Rohit Karki (19).
