Election Observer Shankar Jival arrives in Mangaldai for free and fair Parliamentary election

MANGALDAI: With a view to ensure free and fair Parliamentary election in a healthy environment so that maximum number of electorates can exercise their constitutional right, two Election Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for No. 8 Mangaldai HPC have already arrived at Mangaldai and are reviewing the preparation for the election process.

Additional Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Shankar Jival has been appointed as the Election Observer (Police) and is currently camping at Police Guest House at Mangaldai. Interested persons or organizations or political parties may meet him every day from 9 am to 10 am for any matter related to law and order and election related matter. On the other hand, Director of Transport of Himachal Pradesh, Captain JK Pathania, who has been appointed as the Observer (General), has also been camping at Mangaldai Circuit House. He will be camping at Udalguri Circuit House on March 28 and March 29 and interested persons or organizations or political parties may meet him from 9 am to 10 am on both the days.
