Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) commissioning begins in Kamrup ahead of Assembly polls

RANGIA: As per the directive of the Office of the Chief Election Officer of Assam (Letter No. ELE. 32/2025/260, dated 27-03-2026), the commissioning of EVMs in Kamrup district has started on Tuesday in connection with the upcoming Assam Assembly General Election. Schedule letters informing the commissioning have already been sent to all contesting candidates, election representatives, and representatives of recognized political parties in Kamrup district.
