Eleven people quarantined in Kalaigaon Model Hospital in Udalguri

KALAIGAON: As many as 11 people have been quarantined in Kalaigaon Model Hospital in Udalguri district on Friday. They returned home from different parts of the country due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Informing the mediapersons, doctor N. Barua said, "Doctors and medical staff of the hospital have started the necessary screening of all these people. If they do not show symptoms of any COVID-19 then they will be allowed to go to their homes. No one is feeling unwell till now," he added. Meanwhile, Kalaigaon administration converted Kalaigaon College into a COVID-19 exclusive hospital with a total of 40 beds recently. Moreover, a 20-bedded quarantine centre has also been set up in the campus of Kalaigaon Veterinary Hospital.
