MORIGAON: A day-long entrepreneurship awareness programme was organized by KVIB, Raha supported by Jeeban Jeuti Krishak Sangha on Tuesday in Morigaon town for creating awareness among the unemployed educated youths, women and artisans.
With an aim to provide self-employment by setting up village industry, the awareness programme was held where the participants were told how to get financial assistance or support from banks and financial institutions and about the training facility by the Multi-disciplinary Training Centre (MDTC) under the Assam Khadi and Village Industry Board with a view to develop their skills.
The Principal of KVIB, Apurba Kr. Mahanta delivered a speech on the objective of the programme. The executive chairman of AAKS, Tulashi Deka attended the programme as the chief guest. Altogether 110 youths took part in the training programme.
