Ex-gratia compensation to Minu Goswami, wife of Sayamanta Goswami of Hatijan Tea Estate

Dibrugarh: Sanction letter of one-time ex gratia payment of Rs 4 lakh was handed over to Minu Goswami, wife of Sayamanta Goswami of Hatijan Tea Estate under Tengakhat Revenue Circle, who was killed in recent rainstorm in Dibrugarh district. Sanction letter was handed over to Goswami in presence of Rituparna Baruah and Teros Gowala, MLA of Lahowal and Duliajan LAC respectively, besides Circle Officer of Tengakhat Revenue Circle. The district administration also distributed tarpaulin among a number of families who suffered during rainstorm in various revenue circles of the district.
