Ex-KLO Coordination Committee observes 26th martyrs’ day in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: The Ex-KLO Coordination Committee on Thursday observed the 26th martyrs’ day at Bijulibari, Chadrapara in Kokrajhar district. The president of the committee, Khagen Chandra Ray hoisted the organizational flag while advisor Bimal Ray paid floral tribute to martyrs. The committee honoured the mother of the fourth martyr Samar Ray, Libeswari Ray with traditional gamosa.

The president of the committee, Khagen Chandra Ray said the move of the State Government to form Kamatapur Autonomous Council was praiseworthy. He said their demand for sovereign Kamatapur would remain intact but for the time being, they welcomed the proposal to form an autonomous council. He also said the rights and privileges of Rajbongshis in BTC and Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council areas should be protected at any cost.
