Excise Department's Raid Conducted in Tinsukia, Sadiya, Doomdooma and Dhola

Doomdooma: An extensive excise raid was carried out on Friday from 8.30 AM to 1.30 pm by an excise team comprising of Tinsukia, Sadiya, Doomdooma and Dhola with the help of Police and CRPF of Doomdooma and Talap Police Station (PS) in different parts of Dhola excise circle, namely Lainagaon,Talap and Tipuk under 126 Sadiya LAC under direct supervision of the DSE, Sadiya and Tinsukia in presence of Assistant Commissioner (AC) N Sarmah, Tinsukia. The raid led to the seizure of fermented wash -38,000 litres, IDL-1500 litres, DA Set-38, molasses -140kgs, sugar- 190 kg, Indian made Foreign Liquor (IMFL)-4,120 litres and beer 6,500 BL. Moreover, about 150 plastic drums containing 200 litres each were damaged during the raid.
