Excise raids conducted against illicit liquor dens in Assam's Bongaon

Tinsukia: An excise search, patrolling and raid were conducted against illicit liquor dens on Thursday in the Bongaon area under Margherita Police Station.

The exercise raid was executed by Margherita Excise Circle led by Prasanta Dutta, Deputy Superintendent of Excise, Margherita. During the operation, two cases were detected and approximately 310 litres of illicit distilled liquor and 3,200 litres of fermented wash were seized and destroyed by the excise team.
