Excise Raids in Sivasagar

Joysagar: The Sivasagar District Excise Department, with the help of Sivasagar Police, launched an operation against various illegal liquor dens in and around Sivasagar town on Thursday. The excise sleuths and police busted illegal liquor dens in Naojan village, Dorikapara, Amhuri, Borbam, Betbari and in the NH-37 and Bhatiapara areas. Besides, the Joysagar Police also raided many illegal liquor dens in Salaguri, Kalugaon, Magarahut, Rudrasagar and ONGC GGS-4 areas of Joysagar on Thursday night.
