Executive body of Bar Association constituted in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The executive body of the Lakhimpur District Bar Association was constituted after holding election.

The executive body for 2022—2023 session was constituted with Dhebor Gohain Baruah as president, Arup Kalita as vice-president, Uttam Kumar Phukan as general secretary, Om Prakash Hazarika as assistant general secretary, Mantu Das as auditor, Mehdi Hassan Fakir as treasurer, Aditya Baruah as librarian, Deep Sankar Saikia, Ivy Gogoi Phukan, Rakesh Mili, Lakhyajit Saikia, Swapna Rani Baruah and Naba Krishna Rajkhowa as executive members.

Election was held for all other portfolios including the six executive members while Mantu Das as auditor, Mehdi Hassan Fakir as treasurer, Aditya Baruah as librarian won the portfolios being uncontested.
