Exhibition of Fire and Emergency Equipment Held in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: In connection with the Great Assam School Shakeout program for the students, the District Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with District Fire and Emergency Services, Kokrajhar organized an exhibition of search and rescue and fire and emergency equipment at Government HS and MP School playground on Saturday.

A large number of students from various educational institutions of Kokrajhar turned up at the exhibition venue where different equipment applied during an emergency, search and rescue and fire incidents were displayed. The personnel from SDRF and District Disaster Management Authority as well as from Emergency Services explained the use of the equipment to the students. ADC of Kokrajhar, Debeswar Bora inaugurated the exhibition. He also inspected the equipment displayed in the exhibition and hoped that the demonstration of such equipment would enhance the knowledge of all during emergency situations.
