Farewell to outgoing Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Bishnu Kamal Bora

SIVASAGAR: The Sivasagar District Administration organized a function at Syukafa Conference Hall of DC's Office, Sivasagar to bid farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Bishnu Kamal Bora. Bora took charge as the DC of Sivasagar district on December 5, 2020.

Addressing the gathering DC Bishnu Kamal Bora said, "I have served as DC in Sivasagar district for 8 months and I am lucky to have the opportunity to serve here. I have worked with dedication and transparency throughout my tenure. I am thankful that all officers and staff have co-operated with me."

Earlier, welcoming the gathering, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bitupan Neog said that in the government service transfer is compulsory. "DC Sir is very active and motivates everyone around him. He has a very positive attitude and works with integrity and a clean mind. We are very grateful that we got an opportunity to work under him," said Neog.

The other officers shared their experiences of working with the Deputy Commissioner during his tenure in the district. They also spoke about his role in effective management of COVID-19 pandemic, for successful conduct of Assembly elections and management of other crucial issues in the district.
