Final electoral roll of Tezpur election district published

TEZPUR: The final electoral rolls of Tezpur election district with January 1, 2021 as qualifying date have been published for all five Legislative Assembly constituencies under Tezpur election district.

A total of 8,93,617 voters have been enrolled into the electoral rolls after the Special Summary Revision that was carried out in November-December 2020 as per instruction of the Election Commission of India. Out of these, 4,54,238 are males and 4,39,379 are female voters.

The total number of voters as per the draft electoral rolls published on 18.11.2020 was 8,82,669. With an increase of 10,957 voters after the Special Summary Revision 2021, there has been an increase of 1.50 per cent electors over the draft electoral roll.
