Financial assistance extended to namghars and Bathou Thansalis of Baksa district

BAKSA: Ceremonial distribution of sanction letters for financial assistance to namghars and Bathou Thansalis of Baksa district under Assam Darshan Scheme for the financial year 2020-21 was held on Saturday at the Veterinary field, Mushalpur, in presence of Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Katiram Boro, Speaker of BTR, Emmanuel Mosahary, MLA of 58-Tamulpur LAC, Ranjan Sarma, Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, and other dignitaries.

In his speech, BTC CEM Pramod Boro appealed to people to adopt new technology for development in agriculture, horticulture and pisciculture. He also said that people should work unitedly for the development of Bodoland Territorial Region. He distributed sanction letters to the beneficiaries. A total of 190 namghars and 241 Bathou Thansalis of Baksa district were handed over sanction letters in the function.
