Financial constraints no hurdle for students to achieve success

DEMOW: Financial hardship cannot prevent people from fulfilling their dreams and the key to success is hard work. This has been proved by Kaberi Gogoi, an inhabitant of Palengi Jiyamari Gaon near Demow of Sivasagar district and a student of Palengi High School, who secured 91 per cent in the HSLC exam, 2020.

Kaberi Gogoi is the eldest daughter of Pramud Gogoi and Mun Gogoi. Her father has a small bicycle shop in Rajmai. But despite her humble background, she worked hard and made her parents, teachers and neighbourhood proud. Kaberi Gogoi secured 541 marks in the HSLC exam. Rijumoni Handique, an inhabitant of Nitai Naojan Gaon and student of Nitaipukhuri High Medium Girls' School, secured 88.67 per cent in the HSLC exam. She is the daughter of Jayanta Handique and Anjali Handique and her parents are daily wage earners.
