First COVID-19 casualty in Darrang district

MANGALDAI: Retired Principal of Duni College, Sarat Saharia (61) has become the first casualty of COVID-19 in Darrang district. Saharia, a resident of Milanpur of Mangaldai town, was admitted in Mangaldai Civil Hospital where he was declared dead. However, after collection of swab sample for rapid test after his death, he tested positive.
