First COVID-19 casualty registered at TMCH in Udalguri

UDALGURI: Jitendra Prasad (30), son of Ram Shankar Prasad of village 2 No Naharbari under Majbat Police Station area, died on Wednesday at TMCH. He was suffering from COVID-19.

Jitendra is the first COVID casualty registered in Udalguri. He was admitted in TMCH with high fever and cough. Later, he was tested positive for COVID-19. As per reports, he had no travel history. The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Udalguri is 225. Out of them, 179 have been discharged after treatment while 45 are active cases.
