Five drug peddlers apprehended near Mahur railway station

Haflong: Based on specific information, a team from Mahur Police Station apprehended five persons near Mahur railway station on Monday evening with suspected narcotic substances (Blue tablets).

The narcotic substances seized included 88 capsules from a Scooty (AS 08 8293) and 152 capsules from a Scorpio (AS 11C 6610). The arrested persons have been identified as Dilwar Khan, son of Temu Khan, Council Colony; D Seiboi Kuki, son of Henpao Changsan, Khongsai; Longsung Changsan, son of R Changsan, Khongsai; Lienkhokai Changsan, son of Rounuithanga Changsan, Khongsai, and a woman, all from Haflong Police Station.

Based on their statement, the supplier, Tongkhohao Chongloi, son of Owfpao Chongloi of village Songbung under Mahur Police Station, was also apprehended along with nine strips of suspected narcotic tablets.
