Five new COVID-19 positive cases in Dima Hasao

HAFLONG: Five new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Dima Hasao, said Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Paul Barua on Wednesday. They are all returnees from other States lodged in various quarantine centres like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jawesari Hotel and Mahur H S School. All of them were shifted to Haflong Civil Hospital isolation ward for treatment. Barua added that as many as 45 persons tested negative and six persons who had tested negative earlier would be released on Thursday.
