Flybig Airline Flags-Off Guwahati-Lilabari Direct Flight Services
Regional Airline Flybig on Wednesday inaugurated direct flight services between Lilabari Airport of Lakhimpur and LGBI airport Guwahati
GUWAHATI: Flybig regional airline on Wednesday evening flagged-off the direct flight services between Lakhimpur Liliabari Airport and Lokpriya Gopinath Airport of Guwahati.
The maiden flight arrived at Lakhimpur Lilabari Airport at 4:30 PM from LGBI Lokpriya Gopinath Airport of Guwahati and flew back on Wednesday evening at 5 PM.
The flight service provided by Flybig on this route of Guwahati and Lakhimpur was operated and functioned under the UDAN initiative connecting regional destinations. The CEO of flying airlines informed through a press release about the rote details, cost, timings, and all other facilities that people need to know regarding the new flying service.
Sanjay Mandavia, the chief executive officer of Flybig mentioned in the press release that the new service by Flybig will be made available to fly 4 times a week on the given route on Sunday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday with all services at a low price of Rupees 999. The flight is scheduled to leave the Guwahati airport towards Lilapur at evening 4 PM and leave from Lilabi airport towards Guwahati at 5 PM following these four days a week.
Sanjay further said that this initiative by Flybig is going to connect the whole northeastern states in order to boost and encourage the tourism in Northeast. This will as a whole lead to the development of the tourism sector in the Northeast as well as in the country. Flybig has also aimed to take a step forward in exploring the regions of the Northeast at a very affordable price to travel by flight.
The inauguration of the flight was completed with the travel in the maiden flight by Lakhimpur MP Pradan Baruah, Lakhimpur deputy commissioner Sumit Sattawan, Education minister of Assam Dr. Ranoj Kumar Pegu, and Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka traveling from Guwahati to Lilabari Airport.
