Flying Squad Team seizes Rs 26 lakh at Dalgaon, Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: A Flying Squad Team (FST) of Mangaldai Election District seized a sum of Rs. 26 lakh in cash from a Swift Dzire car at Dalgaon under Dalgaon Police Station at around 12.35 pm on Wednesday.

According to the magistrate on duty, Sarat Gogoi, the Flying Squad team seized the amount during a search in a Maruti Swift DZire car (AS 01 AK 2344) from one Richhtal Singh, son of Dana Ram Gadwal of village Tasarbadi of Sikar district in Rajasthan, while he was travelling towards Kharupetia from Bechimari in the car. Till the filing of this report, income-tax sleuths were investigating the matter. The future course of action will depend on the findings of the investigation.
