Flyover construction work will gain momentum: Jorhat Deputy Commissioner

JORHAT: Briefing media persons on the occasion of New Year, Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni Aparanji Korati said that traffic congestion at Baruah Chari Ali, onion price hike and drug trafficking would be checked while the construction work of Na Ali Railway Gate flyover would gain momentum soon after Bhogali Bihu.

The Deputy Commissioner said that several bus owners parked night super as well as day super buses at the Baruah Charali point which resulted in traffic snarls. The construction of the Na-Ali flyover was moving at a snail’s pace due to land acquisition issues as landowners were delaying producing land documents or there were family disputes, said the Deputy Commissioner.
