NAGAON: Forest Protection Squad of Nagaon Forest Division, led by in-charge range officer Rajen Saikia, busted an illegal band saw mill at Kampur Juripar colony on Wednesday evening. Sources claimed that the protection squad seized generator sets and other machinery tools on the spot. Meanwhile, the protection squad lodged an FIR against the owner of the illegal saw mill in Kochuwa PS and also brought all the machinery tools to the office of local forest range for further legal proceedings, sources said further.
