Forest Range Officer JC Mandal passes away in Guwahati

NUMALIGARH: JC Mandal, Range Officer, Dhania, aged 53 years, who was looking after Burhachapori Wildlife Sanctuary, passed away on Monday in a private hospital in Guwahati. He was under treatment for severe lung ailment since some time and his condition further deteriorated when he tested COVID-19 positive. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son. JC Mandal was a dedicated officer who was instrumental in conservation and protection of Burhachapori Wildlife Sanctuary.
