Former AGP minister Prabin Kumar Gogoi's wife and Asom Gana Parishad leader Upasana Gogoi passes away in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) leader Upasana Gogoi passed away on Saturday night due to heart attack. Upasana Gogoi was wife of former AGP minister Prabin Kumar Gogoi. She lived in Chandan Nagar of Golaghat town. She was executive member of AGP State committee and vice president of AGP Mahila Parishad. Besides, she was actively associated with various social and cultural organizations.

Her demise was widely mourned by people of Golaghat and all the organizations of which she was a part. State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, MLA of Khumtai constituency, Mrinal Saikia, MLA Nirupoma Rajkhowa and former minister Bismita Gogoi expressed their condolence to the bereaved family members.
